The Non Medical Epidemiologist collaborates with the Medical Epidemiologist to collate, analyze and input data relevant to disease surveillance and control throughout the nation.
The National Administrator Nursing Services is responsible for providing the nursing inputs required in the development of health policies and systems for regulating, monitoring and evaluating the national health service.
The incumbent supervises all blood bank laboratory activities. Work involves supervising and training of laboratory staff and providing technical assistance where necessary. Work is performed with considerable independence under the supervision of the Medical Director.
The incumbent performs advanced laboratory procedures. Work involves supervision and training of junior colleagues. Participation in the administrative aspects of the laboratory’s work and quality management is expected.
The incumbent performs basic and routine blood banking tests under supervision. Assignments are received from a senior who indicates the nature of tests to be performed and provides additional training and guidance where required.
The incumbent reports to the Medical Laboratory Technologist and performs basic tasks necessary for the smooth running of the laboratory. These would be done under the supervision of the Medical Laboratory Technologists and the Medical Director.
