Working in a confidential setting, the incumbent will listen attentively to their clients and offer them the time, empathy and respect they need to express their own feelings, provide information and explore their concerns, thereby reducing their confusion and directing them to those agencies best suited to assist them to make changes in their lives if they decide to do so.
